Adria Intellectual Property ("Adria IP", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect through adriaip.com, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Croatian law.

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use this site — which pages are viewed, how long visitors stay, and which actions (like completing the quiz or a booking form) are taken. This is only activated after you accept cookies via the banner shown on your first visit. Advertising cookies on the Patent Valuation page are handled separately, through Google's own consent message (see section 8). You can change your choice at any time; see the cookie settings link in the footer.
We also advertise on Google Search. If you accept cookies and arrive at the site from one of our Google ads, Google Analytics records whether a consultation booking follows, and that count is shared with Google Ads so we can see which ads work. Google is not given your name, email or booking details, and we do not use this for personalised advertising or remarketing.
Booking an FTO discussion. When you book a free FTO discussion on our homepage, the details you enter (name, email, company, country, product stage, your short description, the time you chose, your time zone and the page you came from) are passed through our website's server to Cal.com, the scheduling service we use. Cal.com records the booking in our account and sends the calendar invitations and reminders, to you and to our team. The call itself takes place on Cal Video, Cal.com's video service, through the link in your invitation. We do not record calls.
Other forms. The Patent consultation form, and the booking form if our calendar cannot be reached, send your details through FormSubmit, a third-party form-processing service, directly to our team's email inboxes.
We do not store booking data in a separate database of our own beyond our Cal.com account and those emails. Please keep descriptions general and do not include confidential or unpublished details.
When you chat with Adria, our AI assistant, your messages are processed by Cloudflare Workers AI to generate a response. We do not store the content of your conversations. We do keep anonymous, aggregate counts of which general IP topic categories (e.g. "patent," "trademark") are asked about, with no message text or personal information attached, to help us understand visitor interest.
When you use our patent tools (Patent Check, Patent Mapper, Patent Valuation, the marketplace pages), the patent number you enter is sent to the European Patent Office's Open Patent Services to look up public patent data. Patent numbers are public information.
When you use Patent Search, the text you type is processed by Cloudflare Workers AI to build the search, and is then searched in the European Patent Office's database and in OpenAlex (a public database of research papers). We do not store your search text, it is not kept in the page address, and it is not sent to Google Analytics.
When you use the Patent explAIner, a PDF you choose is read in your own browser and is never uploaded. The patent's claims, and short description passages relevant to your questions, are sent to Cloudflare Workers AI to create the illustration and Adria's answers. We do not store this text or your questions.
Contacting a seller or listing a patent on the marketplace works by email: your message goes directly to our team's inboxes, and the website itself stores no personal data.
The Patent Valuation page (in English and Croatian) shows ads served by Google AdSense. No other page of this site shows third-party ads.
We do not share your booking details, chat messages or search text with advertisers. Ads are chosen and shown by Google; an ad on this site is not a recommendation by Adria IP.

We retain booking data (in our Cal.com account and email) only as long as needed to respond to your enquiry and, where a consultation proceeds, for the duration of our engagement plus a reasonable period for record-keeping. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' standard retention settings. To prevent abuse, our online tools count requests per IP address for the current day only; these counts are deleted automatically after about a day and are not linked to any other data.
This site uses: Google Analytics (site usage analytics), Google AdSense (ads on the Patent Valuation page), Google Ads (measuring which of our search ads lead to bookings), Cal.com and Cal Video (scheduling consultations, invitations and video calls), FormSubmit (form delivery), Cloudflare (website delivery and security, and Cloudflare Workers AI, which powers the Adria chat assistant, Patent Search and the Patent explAIner), the European Patent Office's Open Patent Services (public patent data), OpenAlex (public research-paper data), and Google Fonts (typography, loaded from Google's servers). Each operates under its own privacy policy.
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
