Adria Intellectual Property ("Adria IP", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect through adriaip.com, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Croatian law.

1. Who We Are

4. Cookies & Analytics

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use this site — which pages are viewed, how long visitors stay, and which actions (like completing the quiz or a booking form) are taken. This is only activated after you accept cookies via the banner shown on your first visit. You can change your choice at any time; see the cookie settings link in the footer.

Your choice matters: If you decline cookies, the site still works fully — you simply won't be included in our analytics data.

5. Where Booking Form Data Goes

When you submit a booking form, the data is sent via FormSubmit, a third-party form-processing service, directly to our team's email inboxes. It is not stored in a separate database by us beyond those email records.

6. The Adria AI Assistant

When you chat with Adria, our AI assistant, your messages are processed by Cloudflare Workers AI to generate a response. We do not store the content of your conversations. We do keep anonymous, aggregate counts of which general IP topic categories (e.g. "patent," "trademark") are asked about, with no message text or personal information attached, to help us understand visitor interest.

Please don't share confidential information in the chat: Adria provides general educational information only and does not create a confidential adviser-client relationship. For anything involving unpublished or proprietary details, please book a consultation instead.

7. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the EU/EEA (or otherwise protected under GDPR), you have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
Object to or restrict certain processing
Withdraw cookie consent at any time

8. Data Retention

We retain booking enquiry data only as long as needed to respond to your enquiry and, where a consultation proceeds, for the duration of our engagement plus a reasonable period for record-keeping. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' standard retention settings.

9. Third-Party Services

This site uses: Google Analytics (site usage analytics), FormSubmit (booking form delivery), Cloudflare Workers AI (powers the Adria chat assistant), and Google Fonts (typography, loaded from Google's servers). Each operates under its own privacy policy.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
